Spatial variation of pCO2 in Lake Erssjön

The spatial distribution of the interpolated pCO2 concentration (ppm) from Lake Erssjön, based on 42 manually chambers sampled in each of the measured DOY (day of year) every third week from May (top left) to September (below right) (n=7).

Local areas with higher pCO2 occurred throughout the season in Lake Erssjön (based on manual gas samples from the chambers). Areas with higher pCO2 seemed to differ depending on which period during the season, but were generally located at the two inlets (in the northern and southern shore).
