A food rewarded two -choice conditioning paradigm were used on five adult spider monkey females to investigate their olfactory detection threshold for six predator odors from a newar-odorless odorant.

The different predator odors originate from either the Mustelid family (skunk, weasel and ferrets) or Feline family (cats and bobcats).

The predator odors were used as a reward stimulus.
