Olfactory detection thresholds of spider monkeys for predator odors

The five female spider monkeys used in this study showed anindividual variation between their olfactory detection thresholds for the six different predator odors. Kelly showed the lowest olfactory detection threshold for all six odorants with 3-methyl-1-butanethiol (being an odorant from the weasel family) haveing the lowest olfactory detection threshold.
