Localization and Transport of a Protein of Interest

The protein of interest has two isoforms and localizes to vesicular structures. The longer isoform localizes to vesicles that have a high motility. In contrast, the shorter isoform localizes to vacuoles that have a low motility. Vesicles and vacuoles are neither endosomes nor lysosomes.
