The habitat preference of the threatened Marsh fritillary butterfly (Euphydryas aurinia) on a Baltic island

Welcome!

My name is Demieka, and I'm a student in the Applied Ethology and Animal Biology master's program here at Linköping University. I come from a background of mainly studying mammals, but for the past year I have developed a love for butterflies (who would've thought?). The main goal of my thesis was to assess the habitat preferences of a threatened grassland butterfly, the Marsh fritillary, on the island of Gotland in the Baltic sea.

On this page, you will find an overview of my thesis. By clicking on the menu to the left, you can navigate through its different sections. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, and enjoy your reading!
