Cock-a-doodle-do! Welcome to my webpage

I am Alessandra, an enthusiastic biologist with a strong interest in birds’ behaviour and ecology. I studied collared flycatchers as my bachelor’s thesis project through an exciting Erasmus experience in Sweden. For my master’s thesis project, I decided to focus on a bird species whose cognitive abilities are often underestimated: the chicken. This cute chick and I will guide you to learn more about chickens’ emotions and reactions to eyespot patterns. If you are curious, you can have a look at the different sections of my project and you can even download my poster. Don’t hesitate to contact me for any questions or any projects on animal biology!
