Conclusions

- TiVi imaging is promising for both Jungle fowl and Zebra finch.

- Mediscope imaging is reliable for both the birds provided there is an objective method to analyze the captured images.

- Laser Doppler Flowmetry is reliable only for Jungle fowl and not for Zebra finch.

- In Zebra finch, no significant difference in the vasodilatory effect of nitric oxide was seen in the brood patch of broody and non-broody birds.

- In  Jungle fowl, it is not conclusive due to the non-availability of broody birds.

- The difference in the vasodilatory effect of nitric oxide in broody and non-broody birds could have been effectively demonstrated if the broody birds were available for TiVi and Mediscope imaging.
