Effects of hypoxia on HIF1α and HIF targets in Gallus gallus embryonal hearts.

Hypoxia affects a wide range of cellular functions and tissue morphology and is the most common cellular stress factor.
Acute and chronic hypoxia in chicken embryos was studied using qPCR. In this study I have investigated gene expression of HIF1a, a hypoxia master regulator gene, and some of it's downstream targets.
