Examination

TFYA60

The examination of TFYA60 consists of two parts:

  • TEN1 Written examination (U,3,4,5) 4,5 hp. The written exam will be on the astronomy part of the course and will consist of 10 questions. Preliminary, you need at least 20 points out of 40 in order to pass (grade 3: 20-26.5 points, grade 4: 27-33.5, grade 5: 34-40 points). Two or three of the exam questions will involve some math calculations and the remaining questions should be answered as textual description.

Permitted aids during the exam are:

- Physics Handbook, Nordling and Österman.

- Pocket calculator (with erased memory).

  • UPG1 Home assignments (U,G) 1,5 hp. The topis of the home assignments will be both on astronomy and geophysics. 

93FY41 and 93FY47

The examination of 93FY41 and 93FY47 consists of two parts:

  • STN2 Written examination (U,G,VG) 4,5 hp. The written exam will be on the astronomy part of the course and will consist of 10 questions. Preliminary, you need at least 20 points out of 40 in order to pass (G: 20-29.5 points, VG: 30-40 points). Two or three of them exam queations will involve some math calculations and the remaining questions should be answered as textual description.

    Permitted aids during the exam are:

    - Physics Handbook, Nordling and Österman.

    - Pocket calculator (with erased memory).

  • MRE2 Oral and written assignments (U,G) 1,5 hp. The topis of the home assignments will be both on astronomy and geophysics. The student gives a short oral presentation of a geophysics topic. In addition, the student hands in home assignments in astronomy.
