Unfortunately, there is not a single book about all the analysis techniques that are treated in this course. Instead, the literature in this course is based on the lecture notes, laboration compendia and notes from the laborations.
Below is a list of reference literature that together have information of the different analysis techniques in this course, including some additional ones. These are very good as introduction to microstructural characterization and a general overview of different techniques. However, if you are interested in a specific technique there are more specialized books available for each of them.
- Microstructural Characterization of Materials, D. Brandon and W.D. Kaplan
- Physical Methods for Materials Characterization, P.E.J. Flewitt and R.K. Wild
- Materials Characterization Techniques, S. Zhang, L. Li, A. Kumar
- Materials Characterization, Y. Leng
