My name is Luís Peixoto and I started my education in the field of Biology at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, focusing on Environmental Biology in my last year. After this, I decided to study abroad as a way to complement my education. I found the Master's programme in Applied Ethology and sent my applicaction right away!

Throughout the programme I learned more about the behaviour of animals and specially what applications it has in our everyday life. In my second and last year I went to Mexico to study spider monkeys (Ateles geoffroyi) and a specific topic of their olfactory behaviour.
