Results

The bush dogs quickly found the correct boxes and more or less ignored the boxes without food in them.


The time duration of the tests increased at the highest weight compared to the lower weights. (Graph 1)


At 0 kg, 1 kg and 2 kg, the bush dogs used the weighted door to enter a box more than the backdoor. At 4.8 kg, the bush dogs entered the boxes more randomly, using both the weighted door and the backdoor more similarly. (Graph 2)


A positive strong correlation was found between increased weight and the use of the incorrect entry. A negative correlation was also found between increased weight and the use of the correct entry.
