Welcome to the personal web page of Pierpaolo Di Giminiani. In this virtual space I collected all the information regarding the project for my final thesis. The subject of research is anaesthesia and its effect on the capacity of animals (and humans) to acquire memory. I investigated a specific inhalation anaesthetic, isoflurane, which is one of the most extensively used agents in veterinary practice and tested what it can do to mice learning a new spatial task.
