Me in action

My name is Madeleine Svelander and I am from a small village (Oviken) in the northern parts of Sweden. In 2001 I moved to Linköping to study Biology. As long as I can remember I have been interested in animals, their behaviour and how they are built, so it was not a hard choice to make to start at the biology programme. This was also the reason why I searched to the Applied Biology programme.

With my final thesis I have got the opportunity to work with Cape fur seals which are extremly charming animals and I got to work with a project that realize my thoughts and dreams about the biology occupation.
