Dr. Anke Suska research focuses on sensing interfaces for optical chemical and biochemical sensors and their integration within disposable lab-on-a-chip (LOC) systems. Her work entails functionalization for bio sensing, biocompatibility, cell based detection, and assay implementation.
Suska leads the biosensing efforts at the Optical Devices Laboratory (ODL), and her current interests target synthetic gene networks for cell-free detection aiming at medical and environmental applications supported by optical LOC systems.
She is the co-director of Linköping Initiative in Life Science Technologies (LIST) and responsible for the graduate course “Materials and Nanotechnology”.
