Research interests

Mesoporous materials
Controlling the characteristics, such as morphology, pore size, and stability of mesoporous silica with hexagonally ordered cylindrical pores, SBA-15, by alterations in the parameter space during the material synthesis. The particles have been tested in drug delivery, catalysis, and as templates. A new method for synthesizing mesoporous films with easilly accessibe cylindrical pores has been developed.
Synthesis of metals/metal oxide nanoparticles by a high power pulsed hollow cathode technique, and their performance in catalytic applications.
