Bo received his M.Sc. degree in in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering from Linköping University in 2011. His research in the framework of his Ph.D. involves studying the formation of binary composite thin films on insulating surfaces. To do this, he is developing different kinetic Monte Carlo simulations to analyse and visualize the initial growth stages of thin film formation.
