Research

Our research aims at the detection of protein sequence patterns and relationships, which will be used to create prediction algorithms and to do functional assignments. The methodology includes genome-wide sequence comparisons, machine-learning techniques, and molecular modelling. We also develop bioinformatics tools and methods for large scale analyses within proteomics.
