Welcome to Applied Physics

The research at the division of Applied Physics is interdisciplinary.
The members of the division are electrical engineers,
physicists, chemists, biochemists and biologists.

Several projects are chosen in the areas between physics and chemistry,
and physics and biology. The research activities contain, however, also
fundamental intradisciplinary research mainly within surface physics.

Many projects are run in collaboration with other laboratories at the
Department of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (IFM) and with external collaborators.
